A WEEK AT GLANCE

 

--  Private groups only,  not exceeding eight (8) people.

Day One 

  • Afternoon arrival and welcome to La Pietraia
  • Leisure time to explore and discover the wonders of La Pietraia, your home for the week.
  • Aperitifs with Patrizia and friends.
  • Welcome dinner prepared by Patrizia.

Day Two

  • Breakfast.
  • Your first cooking lesson begins at 9:30 in the country kitchen at La Pietraia.
  • Afternoon guided visit to the medieval town of Todi.
  • Dinner at La Pietraia

Day Three

  • Shopping with the expert. Patrizia and guests go to an open-air market to sample the fresh produce and enjoy Italian arts & crafts.
  • Lunch at La Pietraia.
  • Afternoon cooking lesson.
  • Dinner at La Pietraia where guests can sample their own creations.

Day Four

  • Morning lesson followed by a special wine tasting course in La Pietraia’s magnificent wine cellar.
  • Afternoon trip to the Museo del Vino e dell’Olio in Torgiano. This important museum houses a beautiful collection of artifacts tracing Umbria’s history of viticulture and olive oil-making, from the Etruscans and the Romans to the modern days.
  • Dinner at one of Patrizia’s favorite hideaways where the guests can enjoy some of Umbria’s finest country dishes.

Day Five 

  •  Free morning to explore the beautiful Umbrian countryside or rest at La Pietraia. Sleep late, catch up on your emails, or simply chill out with a good book.
  • Lunch.
  •  Afternoon lesson followed by dinner at La Pietraia.

Day Six 

  • Morning cooking lesson.
  • Lunch.
  • Free time to relax.
  • Aperitifs.
  • Dinner at the best restaurant in town.

Day Seven

  • Morning cooking lesson.
  • Lunch and final farewell.
